Like an umbrella in a storm, Medishield Life is a national health insurance scheme that keeps you and your family covered, always.
The challenge was to depict the road of recovery taken by the various characters in the television advertisement, as we are restricted to only one print design for the newspaper. In the end, we came up with a graphical approach using a half screen transition so that the cast members metaphorically step out from the hospital and onto their “path” to recovery.
From the initial sketch to the final scene, we blended together photos from actual locations and photoshoots to create familiarity and ensure the design relates cloesly to Singaporeans.
The final design was featured on The Straits Times (English), The Sunday Times (English), Today (English), Lianhe Zaobao (Chinese), Berita Harian (Malay), Berita Minggu (Malay) and Tamil Murasu (Tamil) to reach out to all audiences.
